Job Title: Business Analyst II (Analyst, Growth Strategy & Planning)
Location: Miami, FL – Hybrid working set up

Job Summary

  • As the Analyst for International, you will work closely with the central Client’s business team in Cupertino, while representing the different stakeholders in International.
  • The breadth of the role is varied and covers business planning & strategy, strategic & commercial initiatives, business performance reviews & reporting, and market & competitive insights; all of these with a broad International lens.
  • The role offers the opportunity to work on both tactical actions that drive our near-term business performance, and strategic initiatives that will define the future of Client’s One.

Your role will be critical as Client’s seeks to deliver on its ambitious growth objectives

About You:

  • Deep understanding of the subscription business model and bundling (typical key performance indicators, customer journey and levers for growth) as well as the digital and mobile media and entertainment landscape and Client’ss role within it.
  • Possess a strong business and analytical background, preferably from a top consultancy related to telecom, media and technology, and/or in-house in a strategy or business planning role at a leading related company
  • Natural aptitude for translating data into insights, and the ability to define and influence new strategies based on these insights
  • Manage and influence stakeholders, able to quickly build relationships and credibility, to
  • collaborate with and advise others, and to navigate an organization to make things happen
    Have the ability to solve complex, cross-functional business problems while dealing with challenging deadlines and opposing priorities
  • Are flexible and adaptable to manage varying demands of a fast paced business, with a hands-on attitude and attention to the finest of detail
  • Strong quantitative analysis skills with high proficiency in Excel/Numbers
  • Have outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills, including creating Keynote presentations

What You’ll Do:

  • Business performance reviews & reporting: Take a data-led approach to understanding the performance and underlying drivers of Client’s One with a focus on International. Provide regular updates to leadership including performance, key risks/opportunities by regions / geo
  • Growth initiatives: Identify growth initiatives and help to progress specific initiatives through cross-functional collaboration, bringing GSP and expertise. This could include market prioritization, insights on business performance, competitive insights, opportunity sizing, and guidance on feasibility
  • Leadership coordination: Help drive 2-way comms and coordination of International Leads
  • Provide International leadership regular forums to discuss Client’s One, provide input/ feedback, and submit growth initiatives for consideration
  • Data ownership: Be the subject mater expert (SME) on Client’s One data and reporting for International, fielding requests where appropriate and collaborating with Analytics to further develop dashboards and tools
  • One Client’s: Engage with standalone lines of business and other teams on how to best incorporate Client’s One within their vision / growth plans and provide guidance on impact and feasibility

Education and Experience

  • University degree, MBA or Post-Graduate is a plus.
  • Prior experience working with subscription services, preferably in the strategy area.
  • A proven successful track record when it comes to translating data into insights and presenting to senior stakeholders
  • Fluent English is required. Additional languages are valued.
