EXT front-end developer

Our client is seeking a Front End Developer to work with Senior Java Developers and Business Analysts to design and develop its web applications

Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage new web-based applications as well as ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the existing applications
• Participate in all aspects of the Agile software development lifecycle
• Assist client support personnel in the remediation of production issues, defects, and bugs
• Author and update functional requirements and technical design documentation
• Validate test plans and scenarios

Requirements:

• Solid front end development experience using ExtJS
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, JSPs, Ajax, HTML5 and CSS
• 3+ years working as a professional UI developer
• Fluency in Java and SQL is a plus
• Knowledge of Agile framework
• Experience with J2EE Application Servers
• College Degree is required
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, good judgment, high ethical standards, and a strong work ethic are a must
• Strong analytical skills to solve problems
• Willingness to learn the underlying business at a detailed and technical level
• Financial services experience is helpful, but not required
• Ability to work in a small company big client setting
