Title: Software Engineer I (Backend Engineer)
Location: Remote – PST Hours
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $59 to $64 Hr
 
KRs to work on:
 

• Implement and test PV2
• Implement ability to send custom prons for PV
• Implement ability to optionally send audio files to EMC
• Integrate Scale.AI into CrowdPrism

 
Job description:
 

• Working with existing data pipeline to add and test new features
• Integrating existing pipelines with both internal and external APIs
• Providing support to engineers working on the pipelines
• Develop and improve APIs to access data stored in MongoDB database

 
Key qualifications:
 

• Experience designing, developing and maintaining software services or solutions
• Strong Object Oriented Programming skills and proficiency in Python, especially for data processing.
• Experience integrating with external APIs and HTTP requests (in Python): GET/POST calls, pagination, error handling, asynchronous requests, load handling
• Experience with building solutions in the cloud (AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, etc.)
• Experience with CI/CD tools is a bonus
• Experience with linguistics or natural language processing is a bonus
• Familiarity with full stack development
• Able to quickly learn new and existing technologies
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills

 
Education:
 

• BS, MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent degree with applicable experience
