Job Title: Process Engineering Lab Technician
Location: Cupertino, CA
Duration: 12 months contract with possibility of extension
Pay rate: $36-41/hr on W2+Mindsource benefits
Job Summary:
The Hardware Engineering group is looking for a Lab Technician who will support process engineering! We are looking for a candidate who will have a background in device fabrication and experience with test methods! This position will involve interaction with all aspects of design, test, and validation of advanced materials.
Description
You will work closely with engineers to support process development work. You will be organizing and executing complex, detailed test procedures with input from engineers, manually load samples on to process tools, and will configure and run complex measurement setups using high accuracy test equipment. You will also maintain and troubleshoot measurement equipment and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
Key Qualifications
Hands-on experience in thin-film processes and/or back-end processes to support device assembly
Operation and maintenance of high precision process tools
Operation of metrology and analytical tools
Experience in an R&D, pilot or small manufacturing team environment
Demonstration of experiment ownership and accurate results and data recording
Comfort with cleanroom and controlled environment protocols
Skills
Must be able to work independently as well with other team members
Able to follow standard operating procedures and safety protocols
Self-starter with time management capability and a can-do attitude
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Experience with Mac OS X, Windows OS and other productivity tools
